Nemetschek at International "buildingSMART" Conference on April 5 in Munich

Munich, 3. April 2006 - Increasing time and cost pressure is characteristic of the construction industry. Specialization and division of work between the professionals and companies involved in the building process are increasing, as the tasks involved are becoming ever more complex. Vendors of software and consulting services for the building industry play a key role in solving these challenges. With this in mind, how can the design, construction and management of buildings be optimized? This is the key issue at the international "buildingSMART" conference on April 5 in Munich. The Nemetschek Group sees the answer in increased integration of processes and services with IT-supported building models.

Seamless IT Solutions for better Efficiency in the Design and Building Process
Nemetschek, the leading technology company for the design, construction and management of buildings and real estate worldwide, will provide important impulses at the conference. Integration strategies for building design, construction and management
With more than 300 participants, including representatives from public authorities, project development, the construction industry as well as architects, engineers and vendors of IT solutions, the "buildingSMART" conference stands for hands-on information exchange and groundbreaking visions. The patron of this years conference, the 10th Industry Day of the IAI (International Alliance for Interoperability), is Christian Ude, Mayor of Munich.

As part of the conference, Nemetschek is presenting integration strategies for building design, construction and management.
